FSMA-registered brokers to support you at every step.

You're never alone with your credit application. François-Noël Lebrun and our partner brokers support you at every step. They centralise the process for greater simplicity, clarity and real time savings.

The broker's role

What your broker does for you, concretely.

A mortgage broker is an independent professional working for you. From the first simulation, through to signing the deed at the notary.

01
Assessment of your borrowing capacity

They optimise how your application is structured: down payment, term, fixed or variable rate, outstanding balance insurance, split between borrowers.

02
Comparison of suitable simulations

They approach all 17 partner lenders at once and negotiate the best possible rate, term and loan-to-value for your profile.

03
Compiling and submitting the application

They gather your documents (income, expenses, identity, preliminary sales agreement) and check compliance. They then submit the application to your chosen lender. You keep a single point of contact from start to finish.

04
Support through to signing

They walk you through the credit offer in full — the conditions precedent, the total cost — and support you in your dealings with the notary and the lender through to signing the authentic deed.

Why a broker?

Four concrete reasons not to go it alone.

You can compare in one go what would take you weeks on your own

Approaching 17 lenders yourself takes weeks, dozens of appointments, and paperwork in several versions. Your broker does it in a single application.

You get the best conditions

Brokers negotiate with the same lenders all year round. They know the room for manoeuvre, the partner conditions, and which arguments bring a rate down.

You avoid costly mistakes over the long term

Fixed or variable rate, term, how the outstanding balance insurance is structured, how the capital is split between borrowers: these are 20-25 year choices. A broker steers you towards the most economical structure for your profile.

You keep a single point of contact from start to finish

No handing your application from one adviser to the next, no re-explaining everything. Your broker is your single point of contact, from the first simulation through to signing at the notary.

Frequently asked questions

What you might want to know about our brokers.

At the end of your simulation, we suggest a broker chosen first for their specialisation in the lender you selected and for your preferred language. If you'd rather work with another broker in the network you can request a change at any time, with no need to justify it.
You receive your broker's FSMA registration number as soon as you're put in touch. It also appears on every document they send you. You can check it at any time in the public register on fsma.be, under the 'Credit intermediaries' section.
A bank agent represents a single bank and so only offers that bank's products. An independent mortgage broker, by contrast, can compare propositions from several lenders. They also have a legal duty to recommend the credit best suited to your situation, regardless of how they're paid. The brokers in our network are all independent brokers within the meaning of the FSMA.
From your first exchange through to signing the authentic deed at the notary: your broker stays your go-to for any question about your credit in the first months after signing (release of funds, first monthly payment, administrative adjustments). For later questions (refinancing, adjustments), you can reach out to them again at any time.
Just let us know through your online application, and we'll suggest another broker in the network within 24 to 48 hours. No fees, no need to justify it. Our goal is to help you find the right point of contact — not to lock you into a relationship that isn't working.
